Lesser of two evils? From cigarettes to traditional Indian substitute

Since the Indian government has banned lighting up in public places in an effort to curb the addiction, smokers have turned to a chewable leaf alternative called Paan.










Pan alone never substitues cigarett unless pices of dry tobaco leaf called as Jarda is added to it, by which it is re-named as Jarda pan. Cigaret causes damage to lungs and heart.Jarda pan causes damage to mouth,tongue and teeth. Its damage may lead to cancer also.Tobaco is an evil, it has no better angles. ASR.Prasad.
