Thousands of Russians from the country’s labor unions and political parties have taken to the streets to celebrate Labor Day, also known in Russia as Spring Day.

it is not corect to say that 17000 demeostrators left a trail of destruction. The thousands of demonstrators were peaceful (even thouth they have every reason to be angry). very few (probably set up) created the destruction - they were separate from the demonstration and it was obvious that it was arrnged for the press.. Why don't you mention the great demonstration organised by the Communist led labor unions? And what about the fact that demosnstrations were held in 75 other cities in Greece?
