Some view the Moscow Kremlin as the center of power in Russia; others see it as a historical site. For Valery Kubarev, it’s a piece of real estate which he claims is his through descent from the dynasty of Rurik.
The guy should have been told that he watched Sokurov's "Russian Arc" - rewound version.
My own dear Mother (bless her) was half Irish but the other half could well have been Russian and therefore,I may be in the running for the said Premises?...I would almost certainly leave the Kremlin in Moscow ,selling it to the first 'prospective' with cash enough..(with a sitting tenant, of course , wouldn't wish to cause The Prez any hardship). ...Serious bids only.
I think that Kremlin should a be a nationalized good of culture - the same as Krtek cartoons in Czech Republic. I know the similarity may be distracting but I think Kremlin should be preserved, not for sale. I know we have capitalist systems, but even in Poland which was (and still is) the forerunner of socialist to capitalist change, we still have symbols not worth of sale - whatever You Russians may think.
I'm really curious how much the water and electricity bill is every month for the Kremlin?
Kubarev's claim is about as relevant as the Jewish claim that Palestine is God's gift to them from 3000 years ago.
