Ukrainians are very hospitable to foreigners: “Guest in the house, God in the home”. Where in Western Ukraine, stronghold of the Greco Catholic Church is the Moscow Patriarch scheduled? It has been said it will take the “laying on of hands” from all three Romes (Major Patriarchates of the Vatican, Constantinople and Moscow) to make one Kyivan Patriarchate. That will cost the Moscow Patriarchate his “Major” status to Kyiv as apostolic successor of Rus’. If you are counting believers Ukrainians outnumbers Russians even though the Russians outnumber the Ukrainians. If you are counting “Canonical Territory” or number of church buildings, as if the faithful are medieval serfs remember real estate is a commodity.
