Despite all diplomatic efforts the US has undertaken to dissuade Israel from striking Iranian nuclear facilities, the attack now seems virtually inevitable.

Attacking Iran is the most unintelligent thing I have ever heard. The only good thing about this war is that it would probably mean freedom for Palestinians.

America isn;t acting to responsible right now. Israel must do what is best foe her.Obama can;t take care of the problems here, so i would have to say he;s not going to do the best for Israel. This land belongs to the Jewish people when are they going to take care of their property and stop listening to Obama

Reading the comments of all these Israeli ambassadors who proclaim the right to attack anybody, kill anyone, massacre any people just because their god said so, is nothing less than the height of stupid bigotry. The only cancerous threat in the Middle has been Israel since the day the Zionists targeted it as god's promised land, therefore their claim on it justified any action, including genocidal behavior against the Palestinians, who, by the way, have been living in those lands without legitimacy granted only to the Israelis by the god of Israelis. Therefore, since the Palestinians have no right to exist, their existence was a mistake made by god, which the Israelis intend to correct by all means. Anybody who stands on the way of Israeli expansion is by definition an anti-Semite and an enemy of God. The Zionists are totally free to do whatever they like and wherever they want. So, people of the world, beware. You owe your existence to the immensely charitable Zionist. And you're not excluded, Mr. Obama.

Attacking IRAN is no option. Only solitaire embargo worldwide against only islamic regim of IRAN and Molla's, but not against iranian people. Iranian people is friend of Israel and will peace for all people in the world. Islamistic regime of Iran is Sadist, Dictator, terrorist and support all terrorisme everywhere in the world. Goed policy against all Molla's and islamistic Hezbolla in Iran As the head of terrorisme, syria, pakistan, bin laden and his fan may be benefical. Down with dictatorisme of KHAMNEY and Ahmadi Nejad terrorist as president of molla's and not as president of Iranian people.

We have too much in the news about Iran and Israel and too much speculation about that part of the world. Wake up world. That region only makes up a small part of the world compared to the lions share of world news coming from that region. It would be great if this was good, positive news of the people living there, but no, looks like nothing but never ending hipe and propaganda. This keeps fanning the flames and results in even more negative, irresponsible news. Usually the people creating the sensational stories (fanning the flames) are not the people who get hert. Yellow journalism should be a thing of the past. Get a grip reporters.

Robert Aug. 8, 2009. Learn to spell and/or proof read yourself, before commenting on anything and submitting it. Jan, Aug. 7 2009. If the land belongs to the Jews, than why did millions of Jews live in Europe for centuries? Shouldn't the millions of Jews stayed in Israel for all those centuries. Let's see, from Exodus to Israel, then to Europe. Go to Poland Czech Republic and Hungary. Visit the ancient Jewish cemetaries. If those millions of European Jews were the lost tribes, how did they become so lost if they had stayed in the land that belonged to them. Israel, needs to hand over any nukes it has in it's possesion to the US. This must be the criterior for Isreal to submit, before any statements they make about rights to nuclear power and possession. Second, I personally dare Isreal, to launch a strike agianst the Persian peoples. It will truly be the biblical end to the state and the Isreali peoples. Perhaps, 2012 is what they're waiting for. We're all waiting! We are tired of the hype. So do something!

Iran is practically surrounded by US, military bases. How should the Iranians react. Does it sound familiar regarding Israel being surrounded by its Arab neighobrs. They have a reported large number nukes Where's the outcry, where's the protest from America?

why are the israeli's waiting on a green light from Obama? He has an agenda of his own, which does not include Israel. Ahmadinejad just signed an agreement with venezualan's president chavez to help Iran develop their crude oil.Iran did not have this. This agreement trumps sanctions the US used so Iran would not continue their nuclear development program. Israel must protect herself,as proliferation of Israel is still priority for ahmadinejad. The roadmap is the only thing(and has been for decades) the US cares about. There will be no land ( which by the way, is a covenent made by God to her.) They need to stay out of this,as this threat is nothing more than greed and jealousy of this covenent. As far as Israel haveing Obama as an allie, you are living in the past.He says he is,but meets with Ahmadinejad knowing he hate US as well. Obama has released terrorists'in "hope" this will pacify islamic extremists and ahmadenijad. I pray everyday for Israeli citizens that they will unite and her government will stop turning against her own people. What ever happened to "never again"?

To Polondia August 31,2009, Are you so worried about misspelling words? Do you think you know more than a person who spells a wodr incorrectly? I have news for you as far as your blunder.Apparently, you do not understand why the people of Israel could not occupy her land for many years. They not only were forced out by the assyrians (the lost tribes) but enslaved and or murdered. Babylonia captured the tribes of Judah and Benjamin and many People of the tribe of Levi and did the same.Start researching from that point on.Many jewish people were murdered for not denouncing Judaeism in Europe.Check out what happened during the Inquisition. How about the brutality of the roman empire. The Roman catholic church, now there is something to research. Can you not understand? Throughout history, the jewish people for fear of their very existence, lived where they could throughout Europe. They worshiped God in seclusion and went as far as to marry people not of their race to prove they were of christian faith? There was nothing wrong with being christian until the Roman catholic church made changes to benefit them, thus mocking God by violating His laws. They would not tolerate Judaism to conflict the laws created by them. Either the Jews accept and live by this doctorine or die.People scattered, until the could go home.Israel is their land, not people who decided it was theirs while they were forced to live elsewhere. The people of Israel have been the most tortured, enslaved, and murdered throughout history. I don't know where you are from or what you have read nor do I really care. But do not write a statement about the Jews and if israel was their land then why have they stayed away so long. Research true history then reply. I will not care if you spell a word incorrectly.

Hello, I think i am tired of hearing words of threat and propagada. However, have we not learned lesson from world war I and II ? I think the world leaders should think twice and ponder very well before initiating attack to any soverign nations. I want you to bear in minds that there are no winners in war situation, there are only survivals and these survivals survived because of chances, not by intelligency or not by knowing how to fight. Imagine the soviet survived the nazi invasion but beared heavy casualty which will never be forgotten for centuries to come, likewise the allies forces, and nazi itself. Now look at this mordern day where Irak was attacked and uncountable number of civilians lifes were destroyed and continue to perish. soldier continues to die by daily basis. we should learn how to be in peace with each other. Peace is the only solution to our day today problems. I warn all those nations that considered themselves super power should make peace with one and other and even negotiate peace for the sake of humanity. In so doing, to finish peacefully the world oldest existing war which is in the middle east. You know what i mean.

I am not Jewish. I have been to Israel mulitple times in my lifetime. I fear Yahweh, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. Like it or not, there is a Soveriegn God Who reigns over the world in which we live. He has declared that the land which Israel occupies is His gift to them. He is the Defender of His covenant people. He has also declared that those who "curse" Abraham will themselves be "cursed." I would not want to be among those nations whose leaders curse Israel and "want to wipe Israel off the map." They define their own fates by their blind hatred and fear. There is no wisdom, no understanding, that is contrary to Yahweh's plans and purposes. Israel would gladly live in peace with its neighbors, but the hatred of many generations has poisoned the hearts of many of her Arab and Muslem neighbors. Israel is not perfect. No nation is perfect. Every nation will answer to the Judge of all the Earth and all wrongs will be righted in His Day. Until that Day, Israel must defend itself as the only sovereign sanctuary for the Jewish peoples of the world.

Everyone needs to tone down the word noise about the middle east. There is a whole big world outside of the middle east that may have some good things going on but reporters are neglecting this because they are preoccupied with hype and propaganda about the middle east. The last thing this world needs is constant threats of war and more wars. Can we all not just get along and work for a better situation for everyone. I am not naive enough to believe that frail human politicians are capable of bringing "lasting peace". Politicians mouthing this "lasting peace" propaganda usually turn out to be the opposite and create new conflicts costing countless lives {not their children or their own lives}.

What an honor it is to be allowed to share my feelings about Iran and the Israel government. Iran once was a country so full of poverty, it could not function without the help from the West and European countries. Now look at it today. It is self sufficient and holds its own destiny. It is a country that believes it is so powerful, that it could withstand any invasion from others who dare. Her military stance has boosted its way to show they are not weak. I am sure it is. Israel on the other hand, is a country reliving its past. From the days of Moses, God handed his people a country that he had chosen. What happened during world war two, When Germany slaughtered millions of innocent people. They did deserve a land to go to and call it their home. All they want is a portion of land to call home. But not according to other folks who think that Israel should belong to Palestine.. I guess it is time for all of us to sit down and open our history books and learn who the real bullies are. Is it Iran? Is it the Palestinians? Is it Israel? I am glad to be an American.
