Israel: apartheid state or only democracy of the Middle East?

Israel’s borders are those of 1947, and because it is a bi-national state it needs the formation of a unitary state, like Belgium. This is the view of academic and human rights activist Professor Uri Davis.

It is so sad that the Zionists of Israel , along with their powerful allies in Washington , continue their inhumane treatment of Palestinians. It is not a fair fight . Everytime a Jew is killed , ten or more Palestinians pay the price . Israel receives billions of dollars from U.S. taxpayers every year . What do the Palestinians get ? If you continue to treat all Palestinians as terrorists , what do you think most of them will eventually become ?

Holocaust and extermination inflicted on Jews by the Nazi during WW2 has been repeated itself in the past few decades to the Palestinians by the Jews. What an irony which no sane person could imagine the Jews doing it to others since their Holocaust sufferings is still fresh in the memory of living survivors. The Jews should hear Viktor Gekht terrifying memories as a Holocaust survivor and they will know how Palestinians feel under Jewish containment. Jewish suffering lasted only few years but Palestinian suffering is lasting for 70 years already with no sight to end, living like chickens in a cage waiting to be slaughtered at any time and the World is watching helplessly.

#STEVE I agree, except for the bit about 'the World is watching helplessly'. The 'World' could end this in a day if it chose too - but instead the 'World' has chosen to turn a blind eye. If the USA, Russia, the UK, Turkey, France, China, and many other countries chose to send official relief ships directly to Gaza the Israelis would be almost powerless to stop them, and certainly could not intercept / search / board in International waters under international law. No, the 'World' has chosen to be complicit in the suffering of the Palastinians, and as such we all carry the shame of allowing this to continue.

so true jim, israel is america's new partner in crime, just like iraq was our partner in crime during the 80s (when we helped saddam kill hundreds of thousands of innocent iranians, turning iran into a resentful hotbed of islamists). now the palestinians are the victims. occupation breeds resentment--we saw this with the native americans, with every british colony, with ireland, with haiti. the only just solution is to give the little palestinian land that has NOT been taken over by the zionists (gaza, east jerusalem, and the west bank) back to palestine. israel can keep the rest. is that really too much to ask?

The Palestinians will survive the Israeli blockade designed to starve them just as the Russians survived the German Leningrad blockade. The future of Israel is very bleak and they know it.

What stupidity has been published here. The Nazis built gas chambers and concentration camps in which they purposely murdered more than Jews. Israel is not doing that. One side of Gaza is Isreal and on the other side is Egypt(fellow Muslims) The Jews are the only ones sending in aid every day. Egypt has closed borders with Gaza because they are afraid of Hamas. Egypt does nothing too help their fellow Muslems. Open your eyes and stop hating Jews.
