Yep, and they are now trying to take over Syria with their extremist and violent nature, so why is the west applauding their move while at the same time waging war on them, because of Iran and Russia, and to protect their apartheid state of israel.

The U.S was never interested in the promotion of democracy in Africa or Latin America or anywhere else. In the ME, the U.S has always been in bed with Islamic radicalism through its long term relationship with Saudi Arabia and via Pakistan and both countries helped the U.S defeating the CCCP effort in Afghanistan. What is clear now is that the U.S sees its interests being served further by the overthrowing any and all the remaining secular Arab governments and replacing them with fundamentalist regimes. The U.S is in path of the Second Coming. Here we see the merging of an unholy alliance of Christian fundamentalism, Islamic Fundamentalism, Zionism and U.S corporate militarism.

The Islamists and the elite share one common enemy: Communism.

So long as the Islamists are in charge and keep the population ignorant

by erecting a mosque at every corner, the status quo does not change

and 1% rip the benefits.

with Saudi Arabia.  And that is Russia that is the Jew hating anti Simitic country.  America get's along with all religions.  It's Israel that doesn't get a long with Palestine and Gaza.  I don't know many actual Jews though.  That's what living in a free country like America is like.  Not in Nazi Germany part two Russia.

The author of this piece, 'an anti-terrorism advisor to the US government', states the obvous about the revolution; unorganised groups of protestors morphing into political groupings, some with an Islamist background. His point presumably is that this is a bad thing as he goes on to say at the 'expense....of liberal groupings'. He forgets there was an election. The Muslim Brotherhood emerged as frontrunner before the first vote was cast, so again, no surprises.

The US and others are going to have to start dealing in realities. Their influence is on the wane in Egypt and I doubt that any amount of bribes will buy their way back to the kind of influence they exerted over Mubarak.

I think they call this democracy.

As for this 'advisor', if I were he, I would begin scouring the jobs ads.

The plan is to take Suez Canal into the "protection" of US/NATO, remaining Egyptian can sustain by tourism which will be monopolised by Israel as part of its great Levant monopolisation from Greece to Alexandria, including Turkey and Lebanon and Syria parts. Sinai Peninsula is also part of the historical Israel that should be returned to its owners. Is it a delusion? No, it is how a methodical, scientific hard work bring fruits instead of shouting and suicide bombings and frenzy shootings of plundered AK-47 rifles into the air .

Please read your history. the elites (Zionist Elites) fomented, directed and ran communism in the Soviet Union.  Please look into the Rothschild influence on Marx and what happened.  Leon Trotsky was actually an Ashkenazi jew named Lev Bronstein, but it did not suit purposes for him to use his real name.

Call them what you want, but it seems its the people choice.

Its seems that within even Hamas there is no corruption!! the ones at the top work for the people and do the people's bidding not the other way around.

And if Islam is so bad why do their bankers not get a bonus even when their banks are in huge profits!.

Just asking simple questions! give me simple replies..

Realist,
bankers don't get bonuses in middle east because only religion is given to them. The sheiks get all the bonuses. Have you seen how the elites have collection of western cars, do shopping in Italy, Switzerland, USA, do stupid buildings in the sea and I am sure they take a lot of drugs.
And this brotherhood is simply a tool to brainwash slaves.

What is also clear is how much the socalled liberal imperialists rights groups are falling line with the U.S deadly embrace of Al Qaida and the radicalism in the Middle East. These liars no longer speak about secular values of national determination, local governance and freedom from oppression. But these western liars keep shouting the need for democracy for Russia! Putin must take charge and support Arab secular nationalism from the march of Al Qaida and the imperialists.

The author of the article is like a dog barkking to the tune of Zionist trainer. This idiot has forgotten that 75% of MASSES elected  Muslim Brotherhood and Wafd combined.
It seems the Zionists start to panic because their hopes for redirection of the revolution by manipulation into their acceptable political solution FAILED.
I am afraid they might try to export to Egypt "egyptian rebels" to initiate another Libya/Syria style "uprising" in next few months.
