And that's just what we need, another middle eastern war. Maybe Iran does not know it,but the USA is just waiting for a reason to start a war with them. What do they think the Israelis are going to do? Just let them sail into Gaza? There was a rumour that the Turkish President himself wanted to sail there under naval guard, this was reported by a Turkish newspaper. Now that will be interesting and will for sure put the USA in a fix.On one hand Israel is an ally and on the other there is the NATO to worry about.

I do not welcome this Iranian offer..it will only add petrol on fire! Israel is fully to blame for unlawull attack on Aid ships. It was a clear case against maritime international law.Law said clearly as in this case-it was a act of piracy-kidnaping and people on board did have fully right to protect themselfs! Many of the victims are shot from above and from close range in the head. Some of them got multiple wounds in the back..USA -Tyrkie citizen was shot 5 times-2 times from behind. In all of this 28 kids are left without parents. Also, some of those who die, was never given medical help-they been left to die..Israel done wrong by all means! Nevertheless, Israel got right to protect themself and have to do that in accord to law..Gazza blokade is unhuman, targeting all Palestinians like terrorist nation and all world is aware-its not true! If Israel really like to protect themself something else have to be in place..It is good idea that some other body inspect those ships on their way to Gazza-Eu,Russia,China,Usa and others acting as security before you! Israel- your doing it did not add to your security..You have to take your rightful place among other nations by recognize Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as their capitol! International comunity give you a state and 1967 borders are minimum what will be taken from world as only valid-now and forever!Make a fair peace and dont forget-only all word states are you real garant of security of your state forever.I like to see Israel and Palestine side by side, in peace, in state borders as above. World will welcome such of deal and call it fair and justice is done.Thank you..

So now Israel is killing divers as well? So, as far as Israel is concerned, Palestinians are not allowed to have any kind of career, any kind of life unless they approve it? Even the South African apartheid regime did not stop black people from fishing, diving, etc. Israel will fall just as surely as apartheid south africa fell.

This is a very interesting story. The Iranian offer to send military craft on escort duty should not be taken at face value - look deeper and another message is being sent, several in fact, and not just to Israel. It would appear that Iran primarily recipiant of the messages is the USA, with Israel being simple sent a copy for their referal and consideration. The real pressure at this moment in time is not on Israel, it is on the USA. The Iranians know this only too well and they are attempting to turn up the heat and pressure still further. An armed confrontation between Iran and Israel is in neither countries interests, indeed it would be catastrophic for both of these countries (not to mention the region). It would also be catastrophicfor the USA in terms of them being able to maintain thier presence in, and control of, the middle east. It is clear that the international community, particularly Turkey (the 2nd largest force in NATO - and key to the continued US control of the middle east, and containment of Iran) is pressuring the US administration to make some hard choices regarding its relationship with Israel. Iran is making the USA focus thier attention a little more sharply, and a little more quickly than perhaps they would otherwise do. If the USA fail to act on Israel (if indeed they still can anymore), or if they decide to call Irans bluff, they risk having themselves drawn into something so big and so messy that they will never be able to recover thier position in the middle east again. The people who hold the power in the USA need to make some hard choices, and soon - as the Gaza issue will grow from being a thorn in thier side to a gapping hole if they fail to act.

This American eagerness for war with Iran is a fallacy. With an army of approximately 500,000 one war (Afghanistan) , one occupation(Iraq)and a huge public debt the very last thing that the American elites want is a war with Iran. On day two of this war they must figure that the North Korea will begin a series of military provocations. If the American elites intend to rule the world in Roman fashion they will need conscription in the USA. The explanation for Iran's offer is rather to be found in the emerging contest between Turkey and Iran for leadership in the Middle East. For regional hegemony. And in this struggle Turkey has many advantages. NATO membership of course isn't one of them. Israel has just demonstrated to Turkey the 'value' of NATO membership.

Not a good idea. Even without this, Israel was complaining that Gaza will become an Iranian port. For now, it would be in the interest of the people of Gaza to get some help, not allow their hunger to be politicized by Israel. I am convinced that Israel is just waiting for such a grand opening to get the Iranian issue mixed up with this major human rights and emergency humanitarian effort. It would be better for Turkey, Greece, Ireland and others what will surely join, to press the issue of Gaza rescue. I realize that it is hard for Iranian government to sit on the sideline, while its population is clamoring to do something. But it would be wiser to let individuals in Iran join other other countries efforts, and find a way to collect aid jointly with other countries. Turkey has taken a heavy toll in trying to push for peacefull end of the siege to reach the population. The best thing anyone can do is to support Turkey. This is only the beginning of the confrontation with Israeli siege mentality and deafness to the resolve of many nations to pry open Israeli secrets. It is time to see Gaza, with the eyes and the cameras of people who would not cover up for Israel. There is a new ship being loaded, and this one will have German Jews on board. Iranian donors of aid could get in touch with the organizers of that shipment to make a more significant point.

Now Turkey should ally with Iran... Iranian ships supported by the Turkish air force could challenge US-Israeli-NATO dominance in the region. The move would allow the child-like mind of President Obama to play tactical games with his beloved drones. They could fly straight from their manufacturing workshops in Israel and save aviation fuel for the allegedly distressed American war-economy. Remember: the United States thrives on FICTIONAL adversaries. When enemies don't exist, the US always invents them. That's the whole history of this unhappy "democratic" autocracy. So supply a well-publicized REAL enemy and watch the panic...

Any toungue that rises against Israel shall be condemned, not only physically but also spiritualy,my fellow moslems should only find a way to help Israel make a living for the palestinians in Gaza and elsewhere rather than stirring up tension in the world which will lead to nothing but to gather up a collective punishment to everyone who is involved. If you know what this means you better caution anyone who is heading or piloting this violence for sooner than later, the calamity of the whole judgement will start with him and his family.

If Iran's going to actually do it, this means absolutely sure military confrontation with Israel and the US and very likely WWIII. Is that an exaguration on my part? If you could convice me it is, pls do.. for my own peace. Could I give advise to Iran like "Don't do it" or "Go ahead"? I can't, as I can't see the world through thier eyes - it must not be a pritty sight. What we're missing and why we're in this situation: it's because some people, some whole nations and some leaders of some nations will never see others as their equals. It's that feeling of superiority that makes you feel so good and that is so difficult to resist: It's called "Arrogance." BR Aleks

Hope Iran doesn't play into the hands of Apartheid Israel and the US, since the US would love a chance to kill and dislocate millions of Iranian civilians and destabilize Iran like it has done in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. The US is totally responsible for the Israeli occupation of the Palestinians, as it provides Apartheid Israel with US dollars, military weapons, and veto protection to maintain its brutal occupation. Its just too bad the UN, EU and IAEA are too weak to do their job and end the blockade of Gaza once and for all. No country has the right to enslave a people for the benefit of another people. The world needs credible orgs. and not just mouthpieces for the US, as the UN, EU, and IAEA are. These orgs. allow Apartheid Israel to commit crimes, violate international law, and UN resolutions with impunity. Otherwise, the illegal blockade of Gaza would have been broken a long time ago and Iran would not be risking war to break the blockade. It is shameful that the US continues to lie about the blockade being vital to Apartheid Israel's security. The US is well aware the blockade of Gaza is maintained because of its economic benefit to Apartheid Israel (4-5 billion dollars in annual revenue) and not for its security. The UN, EU, and IAEA is well aware of this too, but continues the lie to please the US. It is shameful and it is wrong.

I'm on the side of common people, regardless of nationality or anything else, who at the end will have to go through all the suffering; and this only because some people in this world have decided they're godlike (and seems have convinced the greater majority of whole nations through media manipulation that they're superior to others..) and can do whatever they want to feed thier ego, and pockets at the expense of everybody and everything else. Hamas and Iran are trying very hard to start WW3. I lived in the Middle East and the politics are dizzying in their lies and intrigues. I have seen too much violence there, terrorism and brute force is the common factor that both sides are committed to rather than peace. Palestinians have bit every hand that fed them. I once flew with a French Director of a company that offered a new complete hospital for Gaza for free for the people of Gaza. Hamas refused the hospital instead wanted the French company to donate money for arms. The hawks in the US want a full scale war with Iran but most of us don't want a war with Iran and we certainly don't want Iran handing the hawks in the US an incident to start the war. War is not the answer. I lived in Jordan when the Palestinians tried to take the country away from King Hussein, 19,500 Palestinians were killed in the bloodbath that sent Palestinians to Lebanon, then the Palestinians started the civil war in order to rob all the banks in the Arab financial capital. I have seen the Palestinians cause their own suffering by breaking every agreement they were supposed to follow in order to achieve peace. Nobody believes them anymore.
