Russia’s Chief of General Staff has told the press that bombing Iranian territory in order to make the country give up its nuclear program was inadmissible.
General Nikolay Makarov said at a press conference on Monday that possible bombings of Iran by the United States or Israel were an “extreme option that no one had the right to allow”. “As of the possible bombings, I doubt that they could really take place, though I think that there are such plans,” Makarov said.
The general also added that Iran will get Russian anti-aircraft systems S-300 only after the question is “solved on a state level”.

Russia will have to decide where its future lies, with the West or as an Islamic republic. Iran is begging and belligerent for war with the West and the US and Israel. Russia wants closer ties with Europe militarily yet it fails to realize the threat that Iran brings to itself. US, Israel and NATO will continue to act in the best interest of the Middle East and the world against the Iranian rogue nuclear threats. Iran has stated publicly that it desires the destruction of the state of Israel. We take that threat seriously. It is believed that Israel has nuclear weapons, hundreds as a matter of interest and it has never rattled its nuclear saber. There will be war if Iran continues down its current path and Israel does have every right to pre-emptively strike Iran with nuclear weapons if it feels threatened, it has every right to strike an enemy that is self declared to want its destruction. Few people realize how small Israel is geographically. It is tiny and Iran has the rocket capability to send weapons of mass destruction into Israel. I believe Russia has it wrong and is supporting a fascist state. Once nuclear war starts there is no telling where it will end, we are all vulnerable, Russia knows this and either seeks destruction or wants to cause greater strife along with Iran. If those missiles were ever pointed towards Russia from Iran, do you think Iran has the nuclear discipline to wage the nerve wracking tension of deterrence of does it believe Iran has that discipline or would it use those weapons as it has suggested it would.
