We can't condemn the Israeli people as a whole, the people who should be held accountable are those who ordered the raid and those who attacked (both the soldiers and any people on the boats who attacked the soldiers) .

No one with an ounce of morality can defend such evil. If the US goes on record at the Security Council defending Israel's deadly pirate attack on civilan ships then we all will know the truth about it and it's associate in degradation, Israel. Archie, sadly i think you're right. If Israeli and US government officials, and companies, are restricted from accessing markets in other countries, then i think this will be the closest we'll get to resolving the continued barbarity of the israeli state mechanism, and the horrors it continues to inflict on the people in the region. Starve the beast of profit, much of which goes towards fuelling the military-industrial complex in both these countries, and just maybe things will change. I don't hold much hope however, as each new atrocity commited by the IDF and their masters seems to lower the bar of what is considered minimum acceptable humanity. Phosphorous bombs, collectively murdering children with unknown chemical weapons, already orphaned by previous murders, slowly starving the people of gaza to death with the inhumanity of collective punishment indicative of the concentration camp mentality last seen over 60 years ago, and many other inhuman acts, only prove that Israel is determined to drive people out of Gaza, so they can take the land for themselves. This is a very sad day for the aspirations of humanity, and the urge to evolve beyond savage tribal conflicts, and if nothing is done to bring those who gave permission for this act to justice, then it sends a clear warning signal to those countries who seek to forge warmer ties with israel, and it's proxy, the US. If armed men tried to illegally board my ship in international waters with unknown intentions, or at best with the intentions on seizing my ship, its cargo, and detaining its passengers, you can be sure that I would defend myself and my ship with everything at my disposal. You can also be sure that given this illegal act by Israel in the middle of the night - against civillians on a mission of peace - that many of the passengers must have been terrified / angered enough to grab the nearest chair or iron bar in order to defend themselves and repel the borders. Remember - it was not the passengers who sent warships, helicopters, and heavily armed men on an illegal mission that amounts to state sanctioned piracy. If Israeli military act like pirates they should expect to be treated like pirates. My deepest sympathy goes to the families of those civillians who have lost thier lives on a mission of mercy.
