While millions of people are currently enjoying the World Cup, in India football is not in great demand. The sport is developing slowly there due to a lack of facilities and professional coaches.

It is incorrect to say cricket is knocking out soccer in India. SHOW THE RESULTS! India Soccer team is always disappointing and India Cricket team has won world cup. As an ethnic Indian, cricket is more interesting to me - at least scores won't be 0-0 draw
