India is in the midst of counting its 1.2 billion people, which is the largest national census in the world. Also, for the first time since 1930s, officials may ask people which caste they belong to.
Dear all Indian citizen unite together to cast away this caste system from India. No man is born with any caste , it is practised by our elders. Let us call by Indians than some caste with our name. We are all Indians. When we face problem, threat, pleasure, our neigbours, friends come to help and share without thinking of caste. Then why we should practise caste. Tell the census people that we are Indians and does not belong to any caste. Jai Hind and let us call as Indians

A pity ,the Indian govt has adopted a principle which matahama ghandhi gave his whole life to.The poor and outcast of |India.and united the country. The light that burned brightly has certainly died in India.I doubt if Ghandhi would reconised this preasent country, and its principles which it is adopting.
