This story is completely outdated! It was carried by Channel IBN7 on 1st September 2009. RT says authorities are clamping down now on begging but then also says that when RT visited the court no beggars were found and no action was taken. So is there action or not against begging? Of course, we all know that if poverty were eradicated that would be the best way to stop beggars, but is the rehab center helping? Are they learning skills to earn a living? Would have been nice to see that instead of just a repeat of an old story.
