Chinese rescuers have stabilised the Ukrainian ship, which capsized and sank after a head-on collision with a Chinese boat off Lantou Island late on Saturday. It's hoped this will prevent it from sinking further into the seabed.

Seven people have been rescued.

Meanwhile, divers are still trying to enter the vessel in search of 18 sailors believed to be trapped, although any chance of finding them alive is believed to be slim.
