Adolf Hitler’s childhood home is a charming piece of property nestled in the middle of Braunau, a quiet Austrian town bordering Germany. The house looks solid and spacious and could soon end up on the market.
Sorry, Mr Simpson, but a quick glance around you there in New Orleans should be proof positive that western civilization was not preserved with Germany's defeat, it was irreparibly destroyed. And for the article's author to claim that Hitler would have "murdered" everyone who now occupies his birth home is a serious stretch of the imagination. There is zero proof that any order for the T4 program came from Hitler, but there is proof that he ended it when it was brought to his attention. Lets stick to facts and not irrational hyperbole.
If the Allies won WWII, what did they win? England has become a multicultural cesspool while the USA is squandering their military might fighting imperialistic wars of domination over the Islamic States. WWII was a triumph of hate propaganda that incited 40 to 60 million white Christians to murder each other while the instigators claim victim hood.
Western Europe has become a cesspit of multi-cultural madness inflicted upon western Europeans by these traitorous EU mega rich elitists. The people who wrote the history of WW2 have gotten away with some real hard core lies about the Third Reich and it is amazing to witness the western media still being so obsessed with Hitler. Remember truth never needs laws for protection and if something is true then there is nothing to hide and so you would think a Government would encourage transparency and open debate instead of book burning and prison sentences!!! Ohh book burning isn't that another ghastly nazi invention. Whatever is bad in Europe you can be sure the nazis must have invented or created it and if not they are gonna get blamed for it anyway. I will never forget the day a former lance corporal of the red berets whom fought on the western front in WW2 openly declared in the 60's that Britain had fought on the wrong side - that they had been blatantly lied to- to fight a war for the international bankers and their lackeys such as Churchill. If the soldiers back then could see what was to become of their beloved Britain now there would be no doubt Westminster would have been stormed in a full on military coup and an immediate ceasefire declared with Germany. Its ironic that while western Europe is going backwards the Russians are becoming more and more prosperous based on pride of Russian Nationalism. In western Europe nationalism is very frowned upon by the EU and the effects of that are clear to see how the EU will eventually collapse.
Sorry Bill, but WWII was not fought to defend or preserve Western civilization. WWII destroyed Western Civilization and I strongly feel that in the hindsight that can only come generations from now, Hitler will be viewed as the last true defender of Europe, representing the last valiant effort to preserve traditional European folk and their ways. A shocking assessment, perhaps, but I do believe history will so conclude. The reason why it took so long for the WWII memorial to come to fruition is that it had to take second seat in planning, funding and emotional effort to a holocaust museum devoted to events that had nothing to do with the United States whatsoever, either in time, place or individuals involved. You tell me why this museum was the center of attention to the neglect of your memorial. Why is this propaganda shrine centered on 'sacred' national soil in the center of a nation's political, historical, cultural and monumental treasures, and yet a memorial far more pertinent to this country's history is relegated to the back of the line in priority? Dare to give the honest answer? It's good that you notice the awkward and labored path the WWII Memorial needed to take to arrive even to the present unfinished state. But at this late date, it really doesn't much matter, does it? Those who were in the fight are fading from the scene and with them the sharpest memories and strongest emotions. They take second if not ninth seat or further back yet to the memory of this foreign holocaust. You just don't get it Billy Boy, do you? The holocaust can never die, but memory of the soldiers of WWII? Oh, they can wait. First things first, Billy Boy. You just don't have your priorities straight.
Bill, you have swallowed propaganda fed to you all your lifetime hook line and sinker. For centuries an evil and unseen (by most sheeple) cabal of ruthless swindlers have been behind all the wars, particularly wars between Europeans. They use their control of the mass media and means of entertainment (Hollywood) to incite one group against another. Hitler served as a humble soldier in WW1 and at its end saw first hand how Germany was carved up by these creatures and later saw how utterly corrupted Germany became during the 1920's. It was Hitler who said of democracy, 'A system where the votes of two imbeciles are worth more than that of a wise man'. Were it not for Hitler all of Europe, not just Eastern Europe would have fallen to the USSR. The German Army who stood against Stalin and the Red Army hordes saved Western Europe from the swindle called communism. The above mentioned unseen cabal of swindlers don't want you to know this. Instead they want you to believe Hitler would have murdered the handicapped workers making kiddies toys in his childhood home so he produce a race of supermen.
I take GREAT offense to the statement: "There are bus loads of Americans coming to these pilgrimage sites,” Rosmus says. “I have seen this happening for decades, this is where they flock while here, and money is not a problem for them. We can replace these kind of audiences with educated people, people who want to learn from the past." This is total hogwash!!! I lived in Germany for 10 years, and I visited the Braunau house (and other such sites) on several occasions. I never saw "bus loads of Americans" there - only people who were interested in studying history.Who says the American visitors are NOT educated people, who want to learn from the past??? What prejudice and arrogance Frau Rosmus displays!
It would serve no purpose to desecrate Hitlers childhood home. Freedom is about everyone having the right to free speech and press. To deny any citizens their full freedoms is dangerous. Next time they could choose your group to discriminate against and you could lose your freedom of speech/press. Could we just leave Hitler and Stalin for the historians to sort out and stop the endless propaganda? The world has far greater problems today than digging up old dictators.
Hitler's home in his birthplace should be unmarked or else given to a Jewish organization for a memorial to all the dead people Hitler killed.
I agree. Some people don't even know what they talk about. others lie because they enjoy it. And the rest are ignorant who don't want to follow real facts. Magnificent point: "a quick glance around you there in New Orleans should be proof positive that western civilization was not preserved with Germany's defeat, it was irreparibly destroyed." Kill two birds with one stone, as we say over here in the USA. The German Federal Government should purchase the property and turn it into a memorial to all Hitler's and Nazi Germany's victims. It would be a memorial to the murdered, and a warning to everyone of the dangers of any totalitarian, extremist, one-party dictatorship, like the Nazis established. Cambodia also comes to mind. We, in New Orleans, are constructing a huge new World War II museum to remind everyone of the need to remember the sacrifices of those who served in the War to preserve Western civilization. Don't ask me why it took so long, or how the official US WW II Museum ended up in a city of only 1,200,000 people, instead of in Washington, but it did. Young people who visit the museum are shocked when they see the casualty numbers from the various WW II battles, because they have only heard news stories about recent, so-called 'limited' wars. They can't imagine death on the WW II scale. To them, the 9/11 attacks are the worse thing imaginable. And the museum is already quite impressive for anyone interested in WW II, even though it is still far from complete. They even built it above sea level.
