Chelsea's acting manager, Avram Grant, has been offered £4.5 million to stay at the English football club for the next three years.
The Israeli, who is said to be on friendly terms with the club’s owner Roman Abramovich is yet to sign the deal.
Grant stepped in as head coach for the Blues after Jose Mourinho's resignation last month.
He is facing a tough challenge considering his predecessor led Chelsea to back-to-back titles after 50 barren years.
Chelsea currently sit fourth in the English Premiership.
