The grandson of the notorious soviet leader Joseph Stalin has sued a Russian newspaper for allegedly slandering his ancestor. But the newspaper is only happy.
Stalins good name? The man was twisted. His own henchmen were glad when he died. What next, Beria was a sweet loving man?
Are we suprised at Stalins actions the Caucus region especially there exploits during WW2 revealed in letters. 1962, U.S. President John F. Kennedy meets with the predidential adviser for national security, George Mack Bundy. - Are you aware of these letters of the Russian military: - Mr President, they are not Russians, they are from the the southern regions of the USSR. - And who are they? - The area is called "Caucasus", beautiful landscapes, but people are mostly Muslim, although not all. There are Christians among them. I studied their letters, these warriors are the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of people who have not had the slightest dose of humanity. - Do you know their pedigree? - Caucasian pedigree is not worth studying, Mr. President. This rough mass, without any "treasures of the soul", are morally degraded elements. They are the same people today, that they were 200 years ago. - Among those Caucasians are there really no cultural representatives? - Mr President, they may have some representatives, especially now, when the Russians took them under their protection, to educate them under Russian guidance. But this has no general effect on the Caucasus region. And what can the Russians hope to give them, when they themselves are hardly civilized. In short, the Caucasus has no love for humanity, and never had any before. And were did the lead murderer of Katyn emigrate to Tel Aviv. He like Beria, Trotsky, Kaganovich, and Stalins 3rd wife as well as the senior apparatus of WW2 all had something in common that I doubt Gazeta will be willing to mention. Thanks to the internet and recent events since 9/11 the truth both historical and present is coming out like forgot books like Waters flowing Eastwards, Winter in Moscow and the most famous Last Days of the Romanovs. Even Solzhenitsyn last work dealt with this issue directly. http://www.russians.org/communist.html
Count is shows that your leader was a serial murder of his own people. Russia true to principle of law? Again, did mommy hit you too hard on the head ? If there was any previous rule of law, this would have never happen. If there was law Stalin would have been held for crimes, convicted and punished. Tell me Comrade Cush, when is Russia under KGB Putin going to bring in the killers of human rights journalist that keep getting murdered? Russia has never been guided by any rules of laws, just by murderous dicators. You sit there on your rightous throne thinking your county is a God of sorts when it fact it has been the Devil. You put the West down but you are ignorant of its governments, finances, and its people. You are truly a mouth piece that is rather ignorant, okay moronic. Get an education, use the internet and read some papers around the world, and go outside your home and come visit us. After all, a few short years ago you were not allowed to visit the west.....You are a mental midget...whose on drugs
Surely there are many Russians with firsthand accounts from family members who witnessed or were victim to one of the most notorious mass murderers the world has ever had. So many people died during Stalin's tyranny that even Hitler pales in comparison. For those Rusians who choose to think those were the "goode old days", beware lest another despot arises in a country of so much past sorrows.
I am so sorry for Russia that forgot whole of stalin's sacrifices ( man who spent his lifetime promoting Russia) Russian people must be ashamed of their amnesia.
Stalin made a great sacrifice of about twenty five million people just to satisfy his lust for more power. Many political leaders love to sacrifice everyone but their own families and themselves.to further their selfish political ambitions. The world hasn't changed all that much since the days of Lenin and Hitler. "WE DIDN'T START THE FIRE, IT WAS ALWAYS BURNING SINCE THE WORLD'S BEEN TURNING". Wars, Wars and more Wars. Our only hope is to bring the criminals to trial in an international court and, if found guilty, administer just punishment. After a few past and current leaders and accomplices are brought to justice for war crimes and crimes against humanity there should be some positive impact. Things like Waco would not be repeated because the perpetrators would be punished after being tried in a world court for crimes.

Excellent to see these discusion moving to a legal footing, showing once again Russia, true to its principles, is legally orientated, not a political bun fighing European political quagmire. Interesting to see the outcome!
