We need move on here, well past what the US wants. We need to move to what the world wants, and that is a system for everyone, independent of US and NATO selfish interests. Moving on, means building the BRIC WALL. That means using BRIC to be the catalyst to build a world defence architecture that includes missile defence. Gone are the days when the illegal invader, rapist and torturer tries to Police. BRIC has the financial and technical muscle to face down the US and NATO and bring them under the rule of law. BRIC can be the catalyst with all other nations coming on board. We would then create a world defence architecture. Its simple mandate, act independently and independently with full force against 'anyone' acting outside the rule of international law e.g UN mandate or accepted international law. In parallel we need a proper world court, not the European political monstrousity trying to masqurade as one. Then the architecture could also bring violators to justice. One system for all nations, must be our goal. We need leave the US and NATO jungle!

It is a very significant move in the right direction. Russia has stated what the world needs, a global security for everyone, not just for some. All countries and all people should feel secure. Gone should be the days that people are excluded from the security, and exposed to threats, just because a select group of counties finds their political system, their religion, their banks or enterprises, "unacceptable". Gone should be the days when some governments can make up stories about "bad" people and their "bad" behavior, when in fact, it is those countries --- acting in concert for their narrow interests --- that will tell any lie and twist any truth. And in process, demonize, humiliate and patronize. A day does not go by that we are not treated to lectures by the "superiors" on the inadequacies of the lesser countries and their leaders. A day does not go by, that those countries and their leaders are not lampooned, ridiculed and made feel less human. I am disappointed in the direction of US foreign policy. European, less so. Europe has a large colonial baggage, and even larger cultural and racial prejudice towards their fellow Europeans, Slavs. However, Europe has been growing and adjusting to its post-colonial future, while US has been steadily regressing into imperial mindset. US has simply taken over where the British left off. US history, from its founding, is based on the warnings against imperial temptations. In US, a handful of corporations that need US military to do their bidding, ridicule American people for "isolationism". From Clinton till today, Democrats or Republicans, they are chiding us for not embracing empire. But it will not work. The last election was a warning, not necessarily well understood. Empires do not make good leaders. But Russia needs allies who are willing to stand up, not just avert the gaze, when action is required. So far, BRIC has been more of a jelly wall.

The US should move toward inclusion of Russia as a sign of good faith. Russia is no longer the Stalinist Soviet Union. Russia has surpassed the era of sorrow and oppression and is willing to be a global participant in a global community. In a global community, there are no real superpowers, but only countries that have more potential and ability to aid in the maintenance of global order. In a global community not one should be seen above the other and look down upon the other, but the see the other nation as a potential friend or ally, and seek means of exchange. The sole need of a singular superpower and superpower protection scheme has expired and is unnecessary. The world is to be multipolar and that alone. The Missile shield should involve Russia because the nearness to its sovereign borders, or does sovereignty doesn't mean anything to the US anymore? How would it feel if Iran put a missile shield near the borders of the US, would it like that action? No. It would say the same thing as Russia was saying. One must rationalize the missile defense as unnecessary and a violation of international sovereignty and the the right of the nation to protest and deny anything placed outside of its borders as a threat to national security. Did not the US deny the right for Cuban Soviet missiles to be stored on the island because it was a threat to national and global security, or was that a vain threat? It was true. It did create a sense of national security threat and did invade their national sovereignty. As the Soviet Union pulled out the weapons out of Cuba as a sign of understanding of the imposition into national security of the US, so to must the US remove the missile defense that is an imposition to national security of the Russian peoples. Since the US demands in turn respect for its national security and sovereignty, so to must it in turn give other nations respect for their national security and sovereignty.
