Giuliani savaged in Florida primary

U.S. Senator John McCain has won the Republican primary election in Florida, delivering what may be a fatal blow to former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani's hopes of becoming president.

People were voting for the candidate they want to represent them in the forthcoming U.S. Presidential election.

Former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney came in a close second. Giuliani, who'd pinned his hopes on winning Florida, finished a disappointing third.
