Mister Kosachev; the international community has said nothing about that false Russian attack on Georgia. As far as the Western nations are concerned, it was a non event. As soon as I saw the RT report, I called France Televisions (before the evening news) but they wasted 20 minutes on Jean Ferrat (singer) death on a 30 mn show. I did not see anything either on CNN and France 24 English. We have a sick man as head of state in Georgia. France and most capitalist states from NATO are ready to sell or even give to that dangerous idiot all kind of weapons. That is why I repeat what I said several times before: Russia can not trust all those insane US-NATO consorcium's decisions-makers. She must try to initiate with other decent leaders a new spirit and a new geopolitique. With all that we know, imitating those western creeps will be a shame and the warranty of a sad future for the following generations. Please Mr Medvedev wake-up ! Sincerely...Jean-Claude Meslin PS: Have you ever heard about what our French foreign minister had invented when he was the head of "m

Mean, wicked, but very original! Reminds me of Orson Well's 1938 broadcast of "War of the Worlds"... This is something future generations of psychologists will be eager to study! ;-)

Wow. If NBC (3rd place network) in America had broadcast this, who knows what would have happened. Broadcasting "the war of the worlds" was bad enough. This is outrageous. For a news program to broadcast something so slanderous and evil is unbelievable. I am pretty sure that this will not crack the news in the USA, and it's a weekend, so many people aren't paying attention anyways. Thank you RT for being a beacon of light in an otherwise dark world.

I agree with Meslin here. But from what I've heard from Russian's on the ground, a lot of people talk of revolution and even another civil war. I half hope this is true (one half hopes the people will take over and do what is right for the Russian people, the other half knows the West would take advantage and may put into power and even more blatantly pro-western puppet). But that is only what I've heard. =]

This is just another in a long line of Saakashvili's media stunts associated with his psychological warfare against the poor Georgian people. These stunts have become a pattern for the Saakashvili government: marching arrested Russian embassy staff down the main street of Tbilisi between two lines of police so that the people can curse them; having his Defense Dept. official refer to the Russian people as "shit eaters"; his insane attack on Ossetia, etc. The pathetic Georgian people are living behind a new "Iron Curtain" which isolates them from the reality of the world around them. This latest sinister stunt by the Saakashvili's government achieved the purpose for which it was designed: manipulating the fears and emotions of the Georgian people in order to keep them off balance, nervous, and continually petrified of Russia. The Georgian people have been brainwashed to believe that only Saakashvili, "The Savior", can protect them from the evil Russians. Saakashvili is a master of stunts. The ridiculous palace Saakashvili built for himself overlooking "Old Town" Tbilis has a huge glass penis-shaped projection rising out of the roof as if to serve as a phallus symbol reminder of his manhood. Saakashvili probably sits inside this glass projection and giggles to himself as he surveys his domain. The Georgians should blow this disgusting building up as soon as Saakashvili is kicked out of office. This current stunt was not a clever copy of Orson Wells' "War of the Worlds" program because it had a sinister political purpose. It again clearly illustrates to the world the "theater of the absurd " in which the poor Georgian people have to suffer. Can there be any more doubt that Saakashvili's insanity is like a dark toxic cloud over Georgia? However, I have to give that tie-sucking lunatic credit for his devious stunts have made him a darling of America.

Shlaka Your hollywoodian production is wrong: Director: N-PiPO (Obama) Screen play: Robert Gates, Kessinger, Brzigneski, Albrigh, Baker & co. Special effects: Hilary Clinton and Bill Clinton. Main actor: Saakasvili. Russians will have to admit that nothing has changed from the Bush-era. It is even more deceitful and sneaky...The dream than most humans shared when that "Uncle Tom" seeked the presidency was an illusion; a well conceived plan to fool most of us; mainly the Americans and cover-up a calamitous situation. Saakashvili did not imagine that stupid and very dangerous show by himself. Think about what that US-NATO consorcium is capable of doing to impose its imperialist strategy. In the actual sad Worldwide geopolitic, there is no room for wishful thinking or approximation...Sorry Future Generations. Sincerely. JCM

I have mixed feelings about this hoax show. On one hand, it is rather clever using video from the Georgian war to add versimilitude to a fictional "docudrama". Later, excerpts from this propaganda show can be used to remake a future "documentary" about the Georgian war. It can go around in a big loop, getting more "dramatic" with every telling. What are the odds we will all see it re-hashed on USA teevee next year? On the other hand, Saakashvili may have overplayed his hand - again. National Public Radio discussed the hoax film just this morning - a little late but somebody here in USA is talking about it. NPR didn't say the exact words, but the message was, Saakashvili possibly cannot be relied on to tell the truth. That was just NPR - they were more polite than I would have been. :)

I also read on yahoo news that the hoax involves claims that the opposition parties had invited the Russians to take over the government. This is sad that saakashvili had resulted to such extreme dirty politics. His quote over this matter is "Whoever shakes the hand covered in the blood of Georgians of all ethnicities has no dignity," And this was all following the visit by the opposition politicians Zurab Nogaideli and Nino Burjanadze who met with Putin and calling for ties between the countries to be restored. This was a desperate poorly planned propaganda by the Saakashvilis government, which will backfire on him big time.I do not think Georgians are sheep, but that's what his government thinks and will not be forgiven for this.

Are the US still backing the Butcher of Tblisi? One would think they'd be a bit nervous at the poor press, if he gears up for another go at the Ossetians. Still, they've done a lot of dumb things, and paid for a lot of brutal leaders in the past, and it maybe they just don't realise we know it, and will view this as another 3rd world dictator brutalizing his people, and blaming everyone else for it, with their support, and encouragement. I still have to wonder, given the "enthusiastic" nature of Georgians, why they aren't taking matters in their own hands, and shoving the butcher out the door. Are there really so many Georgians who have the courage to do this, or are we being misled on that too? Do they really want a new leader, or do they secretly admire the bloodthirsty, arrogant, deluded, self interested, and tie-chewing one they already have?

@Razkolnik Actually the originally War of the World broadcast was a psychological warfare experiment test for the Rockefeller foundation presumably to see what public reaction would be to the forth coming US involvement in WW2. Is this a test to get the Georgians to preparing for another provocation and war against Russia? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FncbqFAHnjE#t=3m14s

This is in-human and totally unacceptable the news media outlet in Georgia is meant to be fully trustworthy toward Georgians and this is most certainly an provocation against Russia,Abkhazia, and South Ossetia Saakashvili should be fully condemned to waht he has done with this news channel sadly owned by Georgian Government thus creating a fully biased News Channel and people tune in to TV. sets all over Georgia to get the latest infomation of what is happening in Georgia and around the world, This is cold and callous and malicious that President Saakashvili has done to the people in Georgia and I will fully support Georgian civilians with this most evil and untrustworthy President (Saakashvili). Saakashvili never takes in to account that there are small children and some old age pensioners that lives in Georgia and he is literally frightening them because they are oblivious to what is going on in the world today and are totally innocent, this will have major repercussions on the media that is being aired on TV in Georgia if all of the civilians do tune into their TV's they wont trust these government dogmatic channels no further which could possibly lead to more violence in the Caucasus which the Caucasus does not need. Paranoia and Hysteria will be a most unfortunate circumstance this will lead to suicides and mass looting in Georgia and complete anarchy within Georgia which is so Counter-Productive. So Saakashvili should by all means be tried in a foreign court with Georgian rules, away from his thugs and bullies to finally rid the world and especially Georgia of the most evil man since Stalin. This is the only way that all of Georgia will ever get justice and payback for what he has done to his people by torment with ugly tendencies. Russia may need to have this as an option to help all of Georgia and hopefully put Saakashvili behind bars for the rest of his natural life.

This Saakashvili publicity stunt is another clear demonstration why the peoples of Abkhazia and S. Ossetia want nothing to do with Georgian rule. Saakashvili destroyed any chance there might have been to reconcile these territories with Georgia. I just don't understand how Bush, the President of the United States, could have fallen for Saakashvili's obvious campaign to charm him. Saakashvili not only put Bush into his pocket, he also has the two old grandpa senators (Lugar and McCain) in his pocket as well. Somehow, Mikheil Saakashvili garnered an invitation to meet Barak Hussein Obama at the White House next month. I am curious to see if Misha's giggling, drooling and fawning will also entice Obama to step into his spider web as Bush did. Thank God that the people of Abkhazia and S. Ossetia have enough sense to keep as far away from Saakashvili as possible.
