There are ships from 8 Muslim countries and one from Ireland. The Irish have always defended the weaker and oppressed of this world! Today’s Gaza is what Stalingrad and Leningrad were during WWII under the boots of the Third Reich. How could Russia would justify to itself and to history for not pressuring Israel and the U.S to left this inhumane blockade against Gaza?

The Israeli blockade of Palestine is the modern equivalent of the Nazi blockade of leningrad. There are historical differences of course, but the intent of both blockades is the same - starve the residents into submission. Russia has been a silent witness to the blockade when they should be more sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinians than any one else. I am not surprised at all that America, the self-anointed "champion of human rights" as stood by silently was Palestinian children become malnourished for lack of a proper diet and die for lack of medicines. America only champions "human rights" when such lip service serves her interests. Good luck to the brave people of the flotilla and do not submit.

I do appreciate the help being sought to be rendered to the beleaguered Palestines. The so-called help comes from mostly arab/muslim countries. Let it be so. But at the same time, it will be pertinent to say that when innocent Sri Lankan Tamils were slaughted by the Srilankan Army by air, land and water, the entire world community behaved like mute spectators. At least, this is an economic blockade. But what had happened in Sri Lanka was the most cruel and universally unacceptable inhuman treatment to whcih the entire world including its neighbour India subscribed. What a tragic happend and is being continued by denying the legitimate civil rights, freedom and the international community takes no cognizance. what a pity? Are we living in a civilised era or a barbaric era?

The continued illegal blockade of Gaza is both shamefull and sadening. It is particularly shameful that rich and powerful nations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Russia do little if anything to relieve the suffering of the Gazan people - an impoverished and persecuted population by anyones standards. The Israeli government have been allowed to act beyond the bounds of international law for far too long, so much so that they now feel free to act with impunity when it comes to 'national security matters'. This attitude is particularly dangerous for the people on board these boats heading towards Gaza. One thing that the Israeli government fear greatly is uncontrolled, independent and 'free' reporting. I therefore hope that the people on these boats have access to live satelite broadcasting equipment, as live feeds of any Israeli action against the boats will serve as a deterant for heavy handed and / or illegal action. May God bless the brave people of this flotilla, and may the suffering in Gaza come to an end soon.

This is humanitarian genocide, lead by Nobel Peace prize winner and supported by governing parties and opposition from the so-called civilized world and their servants.

Why is it that the persecuted so often become the persecutors ? Are the Israelites morally superior to the Nazis, or is history just repeating itself? Thanks RT, for your very much appreciated point of view.

All this hysteria about humanitarian support is covering the desire to destroy Jewish people and their state. This is Nazi type propaganda reminds Hitler’s actions in 1930th when under slogan to help German people in Czechoslovakia, Austria and Poland the Nazi started war to rule the world and make everybody slaves!!!!! And that time the Russia (than USSR) supported this bloody regime as now Russia supports Muslims killers, Iran & Hamas…. But Jewish people will survey and killers will get punished in the end! Shame on you RT!! You continue anti-Semitic tradition on Russian Empire and USSR!!!

Throughout history, every totalitarian regime, be it Communist, Nazi, Islamic, or otherwise, has had image problems. That is because despite their powerful propaganda machines, they have realized that through murdering, imprisoning and denying freedom to millions of their people they have no true legitimacy or recognition in the eyes of the Western democratic nations. Attaining such legitimacy has always been the goal of the totalitarian regimes. They need it both to keep the West at bay and to continue to oppress their own people. And they accomplish that a number of ways. The humanitarian aid and others like it are no different. These programs are nothing more than cogs in the massive PR campaign by the Islamic regimes, designed to grant legitimacy to their rule in the eyes of the West and in the eyes of their people, which in turn, will allow the regime to continue its oppression and murder. Worst of all, the carefully censored and controlled Islamic media is being sold as a “humanitarian” aid. We have news for you. If you want to see the real “humanitarian aid”, as the Islamic regimes practice it, visit Muslim countries and see how people are treated there. Or visit their prisons where they keep people who dare to speak out against the regime’s crimes. Lastly, I have absolutely no illusions that this comment will change your RT’s actions in any way. After all, where oil money flows morality tends to drown. We all know that. But, at the end of the day I just want you to know that by running this Nazi type propaganda, RT lends its name and its hand to a regimes that is the worst human rights offender in history, and the victims’ blood is on your hands too. You serve as useful rags of the Islamic dictators, and lend them a measure of legitimacy and recognition. Perhaps worst of all, under the guise of humanitarian aid, you are dragging unsuspecting people into this shameful business. Shame on you RT for that.
