Well, it's been awhile since I've had a good water pistol fight too, but I doubt I'd break into someone's home to start one and expect them not to defend their territory, then kill them with my real gun when they did. As has been mentioned elsewhere, any sympathy Israel enjoyed is rapidly disappearing, and they only have themselves to blame.

The Israeli Commandos who gunned down and killed unarmed civillians on a civillian ship, carrying civillian materials, on a mission of mercy, in international waters, were not using paintball guns were they - or have these 'paintball' guns somehow been converted to fire live rounds? What about the other pictures that clearly show a commando with a submachine gun type weapon with a silencer fitted - was this a toy, a replica perhaps? I do not deny that Israel has the right to defend itself, but this is not the way to do it.

An independent investigation that includes all footage confiscated by the Israelis will confirm who is lying. For the US to say Israel should lead the investigation is a joke. If the Israelis were truly acting in self-defense, as they so elaborately maintain, then the data from an investigation will confirm that. Armed Israeli soldiers boarded a ship in international waters resulting in the loss of life. There is no justification for the taking of life, unless it is carried out by a state in retribution for a crime committed, or in self-defense. Only an independent investigation will determine whether and to what extent the passengers had weapons and represented a "perceived" threat. If the west succeeds as in blocking such an investigation, as they seem intent on doing, it will be acting as an accomplice to state terrorism. No amount of carrot dangling or political expediency will save its credibility. It will be seen as acting in the same manner as those it is accusing. Resulting in more conflict, more human suffering, and more loss of innocent lives.

To call american supplied amunition,,paintballs"-is a fantastic explanation for a pirate action in international waters .The dead and wounded turkish citizens obviously have been inhaling the fumes of the paint. The turkisch authorities should check the (eventually )returned bodies for missing organs -local business .They should check in the USA , where many of those organs usually are used.Best regards, enjoying your programs.

Paint Ball Guns the Israeli Ambassador has got to be as crazy as Saakashvili paint ball guns do not kill people but does inflict a nasty pain on ones skin, this has got to be one of the most silliest things that any member of politics can ever say. Now what does kill people are real guns that fires bullets. But is'nt it unfortunate that Israel is loosing friends at a rapid speed because their only Muslim ally at this moment is Turkey but they are loosing them as well, also Israel being the culprit of so much violence against the Gaza Strip and always doing a "Saakashvili's Georgia" move always trying to sooth the ego's of U.S. members of Congress I simply will not buy this Israeli's most insipid claims of Paint Ball Guns because I believe a cover up is being cultivated. So Russia please do not be fooled by this you know your more smarter than this and will likewise with other former allies see Israel for what they truly are. They have taken ancient Palestine and now they want to fool the world.

Why is no one describing this event for what it is - piracy on the high seas? - Under what authority does Israel have the right to board a vessel in international waters without permission from the captain of that vessel? What authority gives them the right to seize the cargo and passengers? The Israeli commandos say they were attacked - why should pirates not be attacked when they try to board? Why did they not wait until the ship was in Israeli controlled waters? Is this not just flouting international law and sticking a finger ikn the face of the of us all? Do I ask too many questions??

These Israelis are now those who commit Holocaust by themselves! Who would believe Israelis will behave the same way the Nazis treated them. I have noticed there is a widespread coverup of this criminal act of Israelis in leading worldwide media. RT is a honourable exception. I am just curious to see will RT ban this comment of mine like it did a few days ago! It sometimes seems anything that is not along the line that glorifies Jews is not welcomed by the RT stuff.

San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea, 12 June 1994: SECTION V : NEUTRAL MERCHANT VESSELS AND CIVIL AIRCRAFT Neutral merchant vessels 67. Merchant vessels flying the flag of neutral States may not be attacked unless they: (a) are believed on reasonable grounds to be carrying contraband or breaching a blockade, and after prior warning they intentionally and clearly refuse to stop, or intentionally and clearly resist visit, search or capture. they had a right to board the ship. Nations all over the world use this international agreement every day. The agreement also says that boarding parties have the right to defend themselves.

The Israeli Government is disrupting peace and creating instability. User "Vladimir June 03, 2010, 04:49" is right, the U.S. media is seemingly steering clear of this issue. And, paintball guns 'wow' I just figured they would play it off as a mistake the same way they played off bombing the USS Liberty in the 70's.

I am greatful to RT for showing us consistently the news and analysis that money cannot buy. RT is independent and free from any pressure from the masters of manipulation. These criminal acts executed by the Israli military should be exposed, condemned and punished. It will take some time until people open their eyes and see the real intentions of Tel Aviv and their masters/ cohorts/ protectors.

Are you being serious or having a laugh? Israel pick and choose what, if any, laws / resolutions they follow - yet they expect everyone else to abide by the law. The world is finally waking up and beginning to see Israel for what it is.

Nineteen year old youth ,shot four times in the head and once in the chest, amongst the murdered . Here in the UK the "appologists for Israeli attrocities"are in full swing attempting to trivialise and justify this horrendous crime. Israel has calculated badly this time?Turkey is not a country that can be treated in this manner without consequence?

Bianca June 04, 2010, 05:00 quote

There will probably be more disturbing news coming out, as the eye-witnesses get home and can talk. I was disturbed by the fact that one nineteen year old was first shot in chest, and then FOUR times in the head --- just for good measure. How was this soldier "defending" himself? And an American protester in Israel was hit by police in the face, and she lost her eye. I have seen the interview with Rachel Corrie's father. What haunts me from the death of that young, idealistic woman, is how without any care for human life, a driver of a bulldozer, without any mercy had her killed. Cruelty, arrogance, superiority --- all wrapped up in one. There was no "impartial" or any other kind of investigation in her death. It is perhaps a supreme folly when parents allow their kids to go to Israel in support of human rights, or any other humanitarian mission involving Israel. The public must be made aware of the fact that we are not dealing with a democratic nation that has any semblance of accountability, and has no value for human life. State Department needs to issue a warning to travellers as to the dangers they are likely to encounter. Instead, everything is peaches. But when incomprenensble things happen --- our officils look the other way and blame the victims.

It is refreshing to read news free of Israeli censorship. All the major news outlets here in the United States broadcast only the Israeli version of the events. The massacre of peace activists on board the humanitarian flotilla and the support of United States of the indefensible Israeli action put in question the sovereignty of USA from Israel. The State of Israel is nothing more than a fascist state implanted to the Middle by Western Powers for control of the people and resources of the Middle East. The only way to free the people of the Middle East is to create balance of power, which means Russia and China should Support Iran and Syria to get Nuclear weapons. If there is a balance of power Israel will never be able kill and invade at will. Current situation the United States and West Army Israel to the teeth and disarm any state that opposes the perpetual violence that Israelis are committing against the Palestinians and the people Middle East.
