A gamekeeper in the Russian region Udmurtia has committed suicide after he failed to pay a fine for killing a bear in the taiga.
What he did may have been wrong, but a man's life is worth more than an animal's.

It may be an old story, however in light of strange events involving the slaughter of protected species in New Zealand and several instances of malfeasance in the collection of litigative values in Australia and New Zealand. It may be of some value to investigate the judgement of the coroner and judicial process involved in this apparent suicide. An attempt to undermine Russia's perception of its court system, a cajolement of a micro-polity in Udmurtia?
