Yes, Russia does not meet the standard of capitalist-imperialist states that form the antiquated G7. G20, a more representative of global players, is on its way. G7, get out.

since the relevance of G-7 has expired the creation of G-4 is inevitable with the powerhouse moving towards Assia-Pacific.

I am sorry to say but this report shows Russia is sliding back into insecurity after Medvedev took the top job of the Presidency. Why does Russia seem to be so worried that it was not invited to eat seal meet and talking about nothing in Canada! Get a grip. You are one of the greatest nations in the world. Put Putin back into the top office and project Russia as a global power and if you are not invited to G7 meeting in Canada so what? Project yourself and play hard to get.

These are all fluid groups, and groups of convenience. At present, UN and UN SC are rapidly loosing the fundamentals of keeping global security. And even less is anyone else capable of keeping global financial security. These are all grasping for straws. One day, we will figure out where the real power is coming from. It is shifting, like shifting sands. Yet, the power of inertia will make us think that we are still moving in the same direction, until it is too late to figure out that we are on our own.

Well its even better, Russia does not need to sit down at those boring meetings and listen to all that nonsense that solves nothing! Let them have their meeting pat each other on the backs and pretend everything is going just fine! Its time for Russia, China, India, Brazil and few other growing economies pull together and form a group that will make some difference in the world economy and way of life of ordinary people!

G-7 is still important, but that is fading. The time is coming when Russia will regretfully decline to attend because the G-7 meeting interferes with a BRIC meeting. The times always change, and whatever the favorite club is today will be unfashionable tomorrow.

Apparently advantages in global security must be meted to us most needy and ought obviously be doled in kind with insecurity and disadvantage.

If it is not relevant to either party, why waste time on it, I guess. If they said that you weren't invited to the Birthday Party to make you want to come or feel left out, I would ignore it as being immature and insecure. If my country, Antarctica, were involved, I would want to know, however. I don't like when people talk about me behind my back. It does not make me immature or insecure, it makes me paranoid and then I have to randomly guess about what went on at the pointless Birthday Party and if they are planning to crash me.

The times will come when mostly West will ask themself why they try to put Russia aside from their camp-in last 20 years everything was just that! Russia not only survive but looks in better shape(after China the best doing economy in the world) in any way than all G-7...West was thinking they will bay somehow Russia resourses and land but opposite has happend- Russians baying their property--instead! Instead to please Russia and have her in their camp they done huge mistake! It will come (as always) with intrest to pay in future from Russia! To Russia-they done to you a good thing...You indeed do not belong there! As millitary superpower and future economic superpower your place is in BRIC with others and not with them! To west-thanke you for remaining Russia once more about your true nature...I can only suspect that this meeting is about one thing-how to trick world futher, till mashines for printing money without any resonable cover can keep going and going....and because of reason-not for Russia ears! Thanke you!

Why would Russia be indignant because they did not get invited to a G-7 meeting. Russia is too big to be whinning about something so insignificant and innocent. The clerk probably just forgot to put Russia on the guest list. Russia could have just crashed the party or sent HUGO CHAVEZ to crash the party as Russia's representative. Not a big deal..

Excuse my English! Does anybody know if Russia is excluded from G-7 or not? There are no news about it in mass-media, but the only aproximately independent radio-channel said that it is a true.

When will Russian realise that for westerner decisions' makers, their country is just a huge reserve of natural resources to be exploited by imperialist multi-national firms. A few Russian companies and prostitutes oligarchs could even be temporarily admitted to exploit them. You have a proof of how sincere are the western crooks when you see how difficult it is for Russia to become member of the WTO. Soon or later, you will have to see the geopolitique differently and act accordingly...Sorry Future Russian Generations...Best Regards ! Jean-Claude Meslin

Russia should set-up her own G or Z something with the other BRIC countries and some of the decent nations which are not in that deceitful imperialist organisation representing 12% of mankind...Wake-up Russia; you should know by now that there is absolutely no sincerity in anything touched by America. It is just business and how to abuse others ! Naturally, Russian decisions' makers should remember that say: Tell me: who are your friends and I shall tell you, who, you are ! Sorry Future Generations ! Sincerely, Your friend: Jean-Claude Meslin
