The iconic English newspaper The Evening Standard has been making the headlines rather than just writing them, after #39 on Forbes richest Russians list Aleksandr Lebedev made an offer to buy it.

Great Britain with its long and at times exploitive history of colonialism in the name of 'free enterprise' can hardly afford a double standard in this regard.
