Even as GM fails, Hummer owners keep singing its praises

The fall of U.S. auto giant General Motors hasn’t diminished the huge demand for its off-road vehicle, the Hummer. The brand was among only a few that has increased sales in Russia amid the worldwide financial crunch.
Yes, Artyom, Hummer H2 isn't a Humvee- they are two different models and no one would argue about this. But this fact doesn't stop H2 to be a good at off-road! If you are in doubts- just have a look at rushummer com at Club Life: you'll probably see few videos, which will change your disregard in relation to H2 and H3. Best regards!
I was making note because the news article stated its military origins, but H2 has none other than the looks of the body. Anyways, I have no doubt it is fun and no way slight those who buy and enjoy them! There is a video somewhere out on the internet of a Lada Niva beating an H2 in a tug of war contest... The Niva was on a slight decline to offset the weight advantage. ))) It is good passion and good to be outdoors. Thanks for the link! Peace )))
Lex is right.. the H2 is fine piece of machinery!

The Hummer H2 isn't a real Humvee, it is just the name brand. The H2 is just a Chevy Tahoe chassis with better undercarrage with the sparkling Hummer look. The H1 is the civilian model of the Military Humvee, the one Arnold Schwarznegger bought. These, I haven't seen on the streets of Moscow yet.
