Truly, is this the most significant news to come out of Estonia in the last few weeks that RT could find? Leaving aside questions about the efficacy of a gay lifestyle and about the artistic merit of “music” volume that come close to bursting eardrums, perhaps RT could suggest within what military framework in 1943 or ‘44 an ordinary Estonian man could have resisted the return of the Red Terror that was on its way back to continue the work, interrupted in 1941, of ravaging his homeland, his people and his family? Or if such analysis is too onerous, perhaps RT could provide an analysis of how the Waffen-SS differed from the regular SS? Original research would not even be necessary, RT could simply copy and past consistent material by the truckload that’s readily available everywhere in the public domain. Or if even that’s too hard, perhaps RT could have reported that this past week Estonia was invited to join the membership of the OECD, and also qualified as member of the Euro zone. You know, trivial stuff like that. But no, it’s Estonian Waffen-SS veterans suing a gay bar over excessive noise. Probably in between some geriatric goose-stepping aerobics sessions and Nazi salute arthritic shoulder joint loosening exercises.

Marzipan, Please explain why there are so many Estonian Waffen-SS veterens left to engage in demonstrations? If your "Red Terror" was factual rather than just revisionist nationalist agitprop, I would have expected the Soviets to have rounded up and executed every last one of them, and their friends and families for good measure. As I've said before, from all the jack-booted unrepentent Nazis on the streets in Estonia, I fear that Uncle Joe and his boys were not thorough enough.

Probably for the same reason there are so many "holocaust" survivors, I would have expected the "nazi's" to round up every last one and execute them all,but they didn't.In any case the Nuremburg courts declared the Estonian legion to be a "movement of national liberation" Estonia was invaded by communists, why should the Estonian soldiers repent for fighting communism ? When Japan attempted to invade Australia during the same war the Australians fought the Japanese and no expects Australian soldiers to feel bad for fighting for their country. How is this differant ?
