The leader of Belorus has two birthdays. That must make all those born on the 29th of February in a leap year very envious. Here in Sweden and western Europe Aleksandr Lukashenko is the victim of a continual campaign to demonize him. Then there is Poland that is always meddling in Belorus affairs. Time that Lukashenko got a fair hearing. Afterall the people of Belorus have their social safety net intact. There is no outcry over how the French treat the Roma, the military intervention in the lorry driver strike in Greece or the Draconian methods against the Basques in Spain. Hands off Belorus ! A belated Happy Birthday/Happy Birthdays to Aleksandr Lukashenko ! André Brochu
