The father of Pakistan’s atomic bomb is back in the spotlight, four years after he admitted selling nuclear technology to Iran, North Korea and Libya. On Thursday Abdul Qadeer Khan told the Guardian newspaper in Britain
Every Country in the world has a right to defend themselves. Pakistan's evil neighbour India has started which lead PAK to make nuclear weapon. Pakistan has to make its defence stronger so that Evil neighbours cant even think of a bad sight at Pakistan. If USA, UK ISRAEL, INDIA and other states can have Atom bomb why cant Iran. Iran position is strong and US opposition is giving him more courage to develop nuclear weapons quickly as they know thier enemy is US Chief terrorist state in the world. And for some people who say Dr. A Q Khan has helped Iran is just a simple lie. Actually Iran is being backed by Russians. Russian will take revange of thier defeat in Afghanistan by Iran and i am sure they will be supporting Taliban in Afghanistan against US and PAK Army. Russia's defeat only happend with the help of Pakistan and US coopration. So People open your eye and think sensibly that who want to kill US in Afghanistan? Its Taliban Supported by Russia and Iran. And Russia will support each power on earth which is against US. DR A Q KHAN IS A HERO OF PAKISTAN and no one can touch him even. He is a great soldier of ALLAH and whatever he has done he has done right. If US can provide Israel Nuclear Weapons why cant Pakistan provide Iran? Iran is muslim state and Israel is one of the enemy of Pakistan.
The Pakistani bomb is a result of (a) their unfounded obsession with India and other preceived enemies of Islam (b) US laxity in not stopping the Pakistanis in the 1980s when they were pursuing the technology, as the US wanted Pak help to fight the Russians in Afghanistan and (c) Chinese technical help, given as a misguided effort to contain India. Now the Pakistanis have spread this technology to N Korea and Iran, and had done so also to Libya before that country gave up the idea. Pakistan is a dangerous and unstable country in an advanced state of failure as a nation; its social indicators - education, health, wealth creation are on the decline; its government has lurched from a facade of democracy to outright military rule several times; it has a strong and growing fundamentalist culture that promotes intolerance and holy war as ideals. It is necessary for the world to think ahead and to plan what to do if the situation deteriorates any further. These weapons cannot be allowed to fall into the hands of ignorant zealots who want to blow up a good part fo the world that does not think like them. They must be disarmed before its too late.
first of all, what happened to objective journalism? the generals are not 'crooked' just because they sold this information. Pakistan has the right to share such intelligence as much as any other country, is there such an issue made in the media of all not only intelligence but actual weapons sold from usa and its allies to israel and other countries? and why is iran perceived as a rogue state? they have not attacked anyone yet, true they have a silly leader but so do most other countries, being a holocaust denier seems the only proven charge, forget freedom of speech there is no freedom of thought or opinion on the opposite side we have support in the media for the right to prevent practice of religion by not allowing mosques domes and minarets or headscarf (they are not wrapping the headscarf over your head so what's the issue?) and the right to insult islam seems to be essential for the sustenance of free speech that is a joke and hypocrisy of the greatest degree maybe the term anti semite should be used more to describe such actions
pakistani panjabi generals and panjabi and pakhtoon nation are in their mentality and thiking belongs strongly islamic fudamentalim and fully suportrs of islamic extremism, therefore yes they sold the atomic technology all over the world, pakistani panjabi mentality and isi is the very big threat and danger for world, only sindhi and baloch nations are historicaly beleaves in secular and humanistic beleaves,so if the worlds democratic nation want to save this glob they must suport to national movements of sindhi and baloch nations.we think talibans and al qaida are the secret weapons of isi and panjabi generals also..........
The problem with most if not all muslims whether in Pakistan or elsewhere is that they can not see any thing without the prism of relegion. Just before the invasion of Iraq there were millions out in London street protesting about it myself included. Myself along with most British people, irrespective of colour of their skin or relegion were outraged about the barbaric act of the attack on innocent people of Iraq. But the difference is that the Muslims in general was saying it was an outrage on Muslims while to most of us the that the facts that Iraqis in the main were muslims was just incidental. W"e thought it was an outrage against humanity. Unless average Pakistani can not see a human being as just that and not as a muslim or a christian or a jew or a hindu ,until they come out of this mindset ,until such a time they send their children to school to learn physics, chemistry, mathematics, humainity, commerce and the like instead of sending them to madrassa ,,I am afraid there won't be any progress. They will always be a troubled inward looking Pakistani society, a victim as well as a perpretator of terror. They won't be able to see tree from the woods. And unstable Pakistan is bad for the regeion as a whole. If any pakistani disputes my point of view, simly ask yourself why is that Pakistan had been ruled by military junta for most of sixy years of independence. Ask yourself why there has been hardly any progress in education and other achievement in the field of human endeavour compared to India despite the fact that basically they are same people, with same ideas, same habits, foods, culture even relegion. I write in no malice but in hope.
