The UK is a total mess, I read yesterday that they are equating it to Dickensian times. I must say I do agree, they focused on the Banking sector, they relied on a false premise that banking had to be done in London. They even have to launder money to keep it going. So they didn't care about their manufacturing, they didn't care about their people. They just focused on a marriage between the city for Interest and the government for Tax. Politicians got rich whilst the people got poor, civil servants became powerful, whilst their people became weak, the courts became all powerful, whilst the citizens became powerless. But this isn't just a generation, it is most probably the whole country for many generations.
