Anyone who puts a price on carbon is a criminal. Plants breath it in, we breath it out. We are carbon based life-forms. Christensen is right that no debate is occurring and high profile politicians meeting and creating the highest CO2 footprint while they will definitely consider a TAX as Agerup mentioned. This is the whole plan because coffers like Al Gore are highly invested into the Cap and Trade plan where you will have to "pay to pollute" and according to them that includes breathing. Those in support of it can hold their breath for us, then they will believe they are doing good and we won't be bothered with their nonsense. Copenhagen prepares for global criminal scams based on FRAUD, that's what the title should say. However, the world and media are too worried about being politically correct and the mass of people's education is based on what people tell them not what they learn.

It is turning into a farce. And rightly so. While the poor and brainwashed youth outside thinks it is the end of the world coming, and the poor island nations will be flooded in the next decade, while the oceans rise one meter or more --- the real talk is of money. The money, "the developed" want from everyone is to be put in a fund, Wall Street presumably, from which the corporations of the "developed" would dole out the "technology" to help them with carbon emissions. Do these people actually know how much carbon we would have to stop producing in order to prevent the oceans from rising? Who cares! While EU talks of committing to 40% cut in carbons, and China 30%, and Russia already committed under Kiyoto --- US is committing to the whapping 3-4%!!!! And now, US is not allowing for the language that would force this number, i.e. instead of "shall" they want "should", because Congress may not go along. Wow. The island nations may go and sleep peacefully. Southern Hemisphere is actually getting colder, and ice on the South Pole has expanded vastly over the last 50 years. The Northern Hemisphere is getting more temperate, i.e. cooler but longer summers, and more temperate but shorter winters. The overall interaction between the two poles, and the resultant impact on climate has not been even discussed. Climate is tightly wired by Milankovich Cycles, with the various shorter-term fluctuations, also well known to scientists. Who has shut up the scientists? And why is not science thought in schools? As for the island nations they do what US tells them. They en masse recognized Kosovo, because US asked them to. Even though they probably never heard of the place, nor knew anything of the merit and the demerits of the case. Same with climate. Island nations know just as much about it as they do about Kosovo. Same difference.

We must not deal with climate change's agreement, but with human behavior's agreement; starting with a radical stop of those needless planetary, diplomatic, deceitful, hypocritical shows. This one, in Copenhagen will cost a lot of money and pollute more in two weeks than the whole danish population in one year. In our modern World we can implement environment's decisions by examplarity. Worldwide, notorious scientists solve most of their problems in a few minutes through video-conferences or by using all the communication's tools at their disposal (like Internet). To keep on that capitalist sucking strategy with Russia, I will not be surprised if the next Environmental mondial party take place in Moscow. Sorry Future Generations. Sincerely. Jean-Claud Meslin

Come on everyone - lets cut through all the politics, the science, and the sociology and get to the truth. This is all about ensuring that the 'developed' world can continue to maintain thier existing lifestyles at the expense of the 'developing' world. Look hard, look deep, be objective, and you may just see a climpse of the bigger picture through all the confusion that has been placed in front of us. Look again and you may see what is really going on.

Deal with the global warming fraud first. Fire and jail the false prophets. Then, get honest scientists to do the proper research while under strict scrutiny to prevent another fraud. Is the world leaders up to admitting the truth about this global warming scam? Probably not, because there is just too much money to be swindled using the global warming farce. The money changers will win once again and citizens of the world will continue to be screwed, as usual.
