Customs officials in St Petersburg have discovered 117 kilograms of cocaine onboard a cargo ship transporting bananas from Ecuador. The drugs were divided into three items of luggage and stuffed into boxes of fruit.
According to St. Petersburg's customs service, the street value of the seizure could well run into millions of dollars. Customs officers are still checking the rest of the ship’s cargo.
If caught, those behind the illegal shipment could face up to 12 years in prison.

“Israel keeps Palestinians a centimeter above the line of starvation”Israel’s policies in Gaza and the West Bank are an attempt to break Palestinians’ resistance, says author and activist Jeff Halper. |

12 years in prison, for the many lives this harmful, highly addictive, illegal drug, could have affected, and probably have already, due to the large amount of this shipment, does not appear to this AMERICAN regular lay person, to be an adequate prison term. The premise of this evil attempt, does deserve a more severe punishment, IN MY OPINION .
