Hey, this is a great article. We all must understand that we have a vote with every dollar we spend, and if we stop supporting this behavior economically, companies will be forced to stop practicing it. Kyle

Thanks so much for presenting this info on the 'other' side of chocolate...I was particularly interested in you comment "Customers who purchase chocolate with the fair trade stamp are also supposed to receive peace of mind, knowing that the supply chain is being watched and regulated". I am not completely familiar with the fair trade stamp qualifications you refer to but would be really interested to understand more about how the FT stamp ensures that the supply chain is watched and regulated? If you would be willing to share more on this it would be greatly appreciated!

Is this story about slavery or is it only economic exploitation? Is there really that much difference which it is. Call it what you want, but it is making owners very rich while working slave/exploited people like dogs. Life is not always fair, but it is always a lot more fair to the rich and famous.
