They also build empty cities just to keep employment and money flow going. Is this the model best for Russia? Probably not, but PRODUCING is definite must!!! Japan and Germany are better producers, but don't create zombie banks and continue with quantitative easing. I guess Russia will always sit on oil, gas and timber whilst twiddling her thumbs. Russia needs to build things that are indestructible and ruggid and use that as selling points because those are the only positive factors people remember from Russian products. The rest is cheap junk. Which if Russian products manage to over come, then there is a future. I think Russia needs its own model not someone else. Allow domestic entrepeneurs fill market gaps and build rugged and reliable products to rebuild consumer confidence. Maybe Skolkovo will produce new computer processors that can compete with AMD And INTEL!!! I would definitely buy one even if the performance lags behind a tad..
