A three-year-old child has died after falling from an eight storey window. The girl could have been saved were it not for the indifference of adults who, instead of helping, filmed the scene on their mobile phones.
Nothing is more disturbing than those videophiles who can just watch with pleasure at someone's death. I'd like them to meet a more horrible fate than those they watched. As for the family, that is so sad. It is called an accident. There shouldn't be a criminal case against them. They didn't throw the child. I heard of another child who leaned on the screen that prevents bugs from flying in. The same thing happened to that child. Opened up and the child fell... Always a very sad story. My condolences to the family.
Artyom - My condolences added to yours, I also know of the insect sceen case, another very sad case; and to the videophiles I also detest them, for they truly have no soul. For my part, with a daughter just coming to three years of age, it pains on my heart more. I have to say maybe I am obsessed, with this issues, but I even bought a ground floor appartment for this very reason, and everytime I visit my mother in law, who opens the window on the balcony, and lives on the third floor, and has all manner of vegetables, jars and other rubbish that a small child can climb on. I cannot relax for one moment. Let's look after our children!
It seems that people´s minds are more and more infected with individualism and carelessness about others. For not helping, they should have punishment of neglecting first aid and being assistents in killing. Its like a Czech saying: Z cizího krev neteče which means that blood doesnt spill from others (or´alien´) Which means people are increasingly selfish and that is dangerous for everyone.
How's the window guard laws over there? When a country goes into modernization too quickly too soon, heart-broken incidents like these happen. Those ignorant videophiles are just reflections of a culture jumping into modern lives. Please do not take this tragedy to enlarge your egos of bragging how good you are as parents. That's downright insensitive and taking pleasure out of people's tragedies. We are in the 21 century now. Should be more spiritually in-tuned and emotionally sensitive. Heart-filled condolences to the child's family and be assured that she is an angel in God's lap now.
W*** is wrong with people? I can't believe anyone would just sit back and watch something like this take place with out trying to help. That is disgusting! She might have been saved had anyone taken the time to see if they could help that baby. My prayers are with the parents and the little girl now in heaven.
So where's the video?
it should be a law that if you stand by and dont call the police if you see someone injured you immediately go to prison, it should be considered murder to stand by and do nothing...
I actually fell out of a two-story window when I was about 1 1/2 years old (I was pushing against the screen). The downstairs neighbor just happened to see me out his window and brought me upstairs all bloody. This was in the early 1970's and obviously I'm fine (after a bunch of stitches in my head). Tragic accidents happen, especially to new parents and under extraordinary circumstances, but it's even more tragic when it could have been prevented. Sociologists point out that people are less likely to render aide during an accident if there is a crowd of people than if there are only one or two bystanders. The reason being that people assume that someone else is going to help or call for help; whereas when there are only one or two people witnessing an accident, they feel more of a moral responsibility to help.
Sick that a little girl had to die because everyone is so focused on their cell phones! I dont own one and never will! Those things will be the death of the human race.
Oh come on. Picture yourself on your way home when you see a little girl practically stradling the windowsil way on the 8th floor. Would you seriously dash upstairs and lecture the parents about how dangerous a situation that is? You didn't know her parents were asleep. I'd have seen her up there and kept walking.
Ever been to New York City and watched people step over someone who's passed out on the street-usually from a heartattack? We humans have lost all respect for life not because we choose to film instead of help or expect to become famous if we film something extraordinary! It's because God is no longer the center of our lives! It's becasue we kill our unborn children so what are we teaching our children about the sanctity of life, about how God wishes we would treat each other, about the ten commandments, about the Golden Rule-Do unto others as you wold have them do unto you! We now teach Do unto others before they do unto you! It's a sad messed up world we live in because we no longer live the way God hoped we would and the way we treat each other is proof of that. I can't imagine standing and watching a little three year old or anyone for that matter, on a window ledge in danger of falling and not do something about it! And then to film the death fall! It's a pretty scarry scenario on how far our societies have regressed instead of progressed!
It's because of sites like this that people are always looking for next "interesting" thing to put on the internet or the air waves. This computerized and televised 24/7 world has an insatiable appetite for the shocking and the titilating. They must find new stuff constantly to feed the machine. So what do people do? THEY ACTUALLY CREATE THINGS TO FILM. They have gone from filiming real life...to simulating weird things....to making weird, violent, gross, sexually perverted, abusive, exploitative and cruel and degrading film. We have become animals. The children are feral with no civilized upbringing. God is dead. And now..so is the soul of man.

Actually cell phones don't play a part in this, its actually human psychology. these people were just all thinking will that guy help or will he. and since everyone was thinking that they didn't help cause no one wants to be out of the norm and be different so this little girl died.
Just throw the adults from the eight floor and film them .

I have ten children of my own and i dont think i could dare take my eyes off of my kids even when they are grown.(that really makes them mad). as a parent we have to be very careful with who, what and where our chidren are at.i dont want to pass judgement on these parents but we have to be more careful,PAY ATTENTION.I am sorry for the parents because of thier loss, and because now they have to feel the worst of it,for the rest of thier lives.
