At least six people, including three police officers have been injured in a suicide bombing in Russia's Chechen republic.
Officials say that around midnight local time, two militants were trapped in a house by security forces and were ordered to surrender. The men are thought to have detonated a home-made explosive device in response.
Police have already established the terrorists’ identities – militants Adam Astarkhanov and Saikhan Ospanov were on the federal wanted list.
Investigators are now working at the site.
The Chechen republic is currently seeing violence almost every day after a counter-terror operation in the region was declared over in April.
