Mass murderer Breivik returns to island of death
The man who confessed to shooting 69 people dead at the Utoya Island youth camp and killed eight further people in central Oslo with a bomb has been brought by the Norwegian police back to the crime scene for a reconstruction of the July 22 events.
The crime re-enactment that took place on Saturday lasted for nearly eight hours, police reports. It turns out Anders Breivik has a prodigious memory, remembering every scene of the murder rampage, which could later be verified according to the 72-minute video he reportedly recorded himself while shooting people left and right, finishing off the wounded and those who attempted to flee the island by swimming in the ice-cold water. Breivik’s camera and the video have not been found yet.The police footage of the crime re-enactment has been published on the VGTV website.Breivik has admitted to the terror attacks but denies criminal guilt, AP reports quoting his lawyer. He believes the massacre was necessary to save Norway and Europe from Muslims and punish politicians who backed the idea of multiculturalism.Before the visit, police x-rayed the terrorist in fear that Breivik had swallowed a small bomb to somehow prolong his terror play and detonate it in the court. No bomb was found in the prisoner’s stomach.
