The following are two contrasting carefully staged images of the two top men in Russia's politics. I am not Russian so, I will not be voting in 2012, but if I did, I know who I would have voted for. Indeed, images speak more than words. http://en.rian.ru/photolents/20100824/160325923.html http://en.rian.ru/photolents/20100824/160322098.html

I personally like Medvedev a lot. I think he's a very good and smart man and his heart is in the right place. But for the life of me I can't understand what this "summit" with Bono is for, nor what the "burger summit" with Obama was supposed to signify. I don't think these photo ops added him any points. On the other hand, Putin always looks good and appropriate in whatever he does. Again, I think both are highly deserving men, and I, for one, highly respest them both. But I agree with PR101: if I had to vote in the Russian elections, I know who I would vote for. I think many people would want him back, but the question is, will he be willing to come back as president and open the western propaganda can of worms?

What's wrong, are you afraid to publish criticism of the Kremlin dictators Medvedev and Putin? I thought Russia was meant to be a free and open society......... Oh, I forgot, RT turned the Sergei Magnitski murder into a story about prison hygiene! RT is pure vile Kremlin propaganda, RT is the international mouthpiece for the regime of genocidal murderer Vladimir Putin, RT will go down when Putin is brought down!
