anything coming. From the bureaucrats to fat cats to political appointees.
The US state department is full with people who cannot see the forest from the trees. Holdovers from the cold war and enemies from within.
How is it that none of these embassies had an inkling
The MENA countries were ready to fall?
Think about it.
Oh and by the way China's soft diplomacy equals bribing half the globe to
sell their resources. The Chinese are not tranparent and very corrupted.
in this particular '3D' equation , one simple thing has to be done...
Do what you say.
In an information era people are judged on the balance of their actions as perceived in a multidimensional information environment.
so basically, saying it on the TV (single node) doesn't mean you did or didn't do it. The TV is as relevant as its equatorial sum influence, which is derived by how many nodes of information exist on any particular subject and the velocity of that information. every 'www' has the potential to be a viewpoint on a large issue.
the largest media institutions will spend unlimited amounts of capital to compete with 'Joe's blog' hosted in Eastern Europe or Russia.
it makes me laugh.
I just hope Fox news turns into a full on porn site. (as many predict) (free of course)
Evgeny,
I would be very interested indeed to hear your thoughts on the unfolding 'nato attack' on Libya.
I would like to know if you think, like me, that this 'humanitarian war' is really about the easy and long-term access to the whole CONTINENT OF AFRICA. I belive the oil issue is just a distraction - or a bonus at best.
Libya is just 'off the coast' of Europe and would make a jewel of uncalcuable value if taken 'back' into the western fold. We must not forget either that in the race for resources / political influence / strategic contingencies, etc, the US and Europeans are being 'outflanked' in Africa by China and some other notable countries (even Iran has a strong foothold). Libya has always been the perfect brighead into Africa for the great European powers and this would be true today to the worlds current 'great power' the US.
An opportunity for regime change and the 'humanitarian occupation' of Libya due to internal conflict has arisen which was simply too good for 'nato' to miss.
I have been trying to get this message out and encourage discussion for weeks. Now that the bombs are dropping I ask you to please give this some thought - I would be really interested to hear what you think.
