Sarah Palin: Frontrunner

Okay sports fans, here we go. As of now, who is the front runner for the GOP nomination in 2012? And the answer is pretty simple. Sarah Palin. She is not only the most likely to win the nomination, she is also probably the only one who could beat Barack Obama. Actually, no one can beat Barack Obama. He will have to beat himself or a perfect economic storm will have to take him out. I’ll get to...

Mr. Wead, Sir, you make some very good points here. As an American who is not a member of either the donkey, nor the elephant gang, I sure as hell hope you are wrong. If Ms. Palin IS the nominee for the elephant gang next election it will possibly mean the end of America as it could and should be. It would be even worse than the current mess, since Ron of Ray-gun.I think that ever since Reagan, my country has been on the downhill side of things. Every so-called "leader" we have had since him has just made America that much worse. Oh, just FYI, I am not a "radical left winger". I am a former US Marine and a Vietnam veteran. I love my country, but sure wish our "leaders" would realize that our foreign policies since the mid 1970's have made America the leading terrorist country in the world. When will my country ever get a leader who realizes that people are people, no matter what country they liv in? It surely will NOT be so if Ms. Palin or one like her, fundamental Xtian, is elected. Thanks for your time reading this reply charlie

Doug, you are too nice. Who would have thought to compare Sarah Palin and Obama, even as a joke? They are galaxies away. I like Americans and, I hope, I know them well. They are lovely, good-natured, non-sophisticated and laid back people. I rest around them; “hakuna matata” comes into my life… I can’t think of any other explanation as to WHY on Earth Sarah got that far… I mean the Vice President nomination. Oh, boy. Oh, brothers and sisters… I am Russian, and in my humble opinion, it would be more prudent to write her off to a satirical carry-on show… or lock up somewhere in a closet or kitchen cabinet.
