10-year old wins competition for best space shuttle symbol

A 10-year old resident of the Kursk region, in Russia’s south, has won the competition for the best drawing of the symbol to be used on the Soyuz TMA-18 spacecraft, which will launch from Baikonur in early April.
Nastya Berezutskaya’s drawing was selected from among hundreds of drawings that participated in the international contest organized by Roscosmos. As a prize, she has received an official invitation to talk to the spacecraft’s crew and observe their launch from the Baikonur Space Center in Kazakhstan.
