The fact that Time magazine has chosen to publish such nonsense tells more about the troubling quality of US media, then of the incident. Israel has long ago ceased to impress the world community with its intelligence. From the days when the former Nazi's were found around the world, and tried for their crimes, to today's reality of Gaza --- these two Israels are worlds apart. It is hard to imagine that Israel, in spite of its blundering military ventures in Lebanon and Gaza, would dream of hiring criminals to investigate potentially serious international issue. The hijackers, whatever their motives, do not inspire any thrilling ideas of mystery. Just an ordinary crime, and ordinary criminals. Their motives? We will sure hear more, but it won't be exciting.

Israel was involved and there weren't people crawling all over the ship with cameras thirty seconds after it was safe? Anyone want to give me odds on that?
