Another Moscow banker murdered

A criminal investigation is underway into the murder of a Russian banker who was shot dead in the centre of Moscow on Tuesday. Konstantin Mesheryakov was the co-owner of the commercial “Spetssetstroibank”.
He was shot in the back and then in the head as he was approaching his apartment building.The investigation is pointing towards his professional work as the motive for the murder.He's the third Russian banker to be killed in as many months. In September, the deputy chairman of Russia's central bank, Andrey Kozlov, was murdered as he left a football match. And just last month, the director of a VTB bank branch, Alexander Plohin, was shot dead.
