Alleged mastermind of deadly Moscow blasts tied to global terrorists - FSB

Published 25 Aug, 2010 17:04 | Updated 27 Aug, 2010 12:19

The head of Russia's Federal Security Service says newly discovered documents link the man believed to be behind the Moscow metro blasts with international terrorist organizations.

The evidence was found after Magomedali Vagabov was killed in a special operation in Dagestan last week.

The FSB hasn't ruled out publishing the documents.

Vagabov was thought to have planned the deadly twin blasts in Moscow in March that killed 40 and injured over one hundred.

He has been on the federal and international wanted list for over two years.
